Per NHL Insider Frank Seravalli, the Boston Bruins and G Jeremy Swayman are no where near making a deal right now as contract negotiations have taken a negative turn.

Seravalli initially released that the two sides are at a stand still. The Bruins have made a qualifying offer to Swayman but they have made no progress on striking a deal.
One item to watch: #NHLBruins did issue a qualifying offer today to Jeremy Swayman, of course.

But sounds like Bruins and Swayman haven't made much progress on a new deal. And they already went through full arbitration process to reach a deal last year via binding ruling.

This is not good news at all for Bruins fans because they have already let go Linus Ullmark. Seravalli has heard that Swayman is looking for a contract of around 8-Years x $8 million, while the B's have another number in mind which has not been disclosed.

, the #NHLBruins and Jeremy Swayman are not near a deal. Probably wants 8x$8mil+. Out of arbitration options. Swayman did not like arbitration even though Sweeney stated recently that Swayman to THEM to arbitration. What are we doing here? #GetBent

GM Don Sweeney needs to step up and get this deal done fast because the Bruins will be doomed with out Swayman in net, as Korpisalo is not a #1 Goalie.
