Former 6th overall pick in the 2018 NHL draft, Filip Zadina is currently in the midst of a bidding war from 3 NHL squads, and The Boston Bruins are doing their best to land the Czech forward.

The news officially began when rumors stated Zadina signed a PTO with the Buffalo Sabres, but his agent Darren Ferris shut those down very quickly. Him and his agent are still considering their options and the Bruins should really try to get a deal done.

Zadina played 72 games with the San Jose Sharks last season, he scored 13 goals and 10 assists for 23 points on debatably the worst team in the NHL. Reports indicate that on a good team he could easily double those numbers, even as part part of a bottom-6 forward group.

Note: the following is translated from Czech.

"Agent Darren Ferris told Lance Lysowski of the Buffalo News that Filip Zadina is nearing a PTO deal, but will instead sign with another team @BuffaloSabres. There was also speculation about @MapleLeafs, @Avalanche, @CanadiensMTL. Mainly because the ice was moving." Barta said in a post on X.

"I was telling my agent, if they will pass on me, I'm going to fill their nets with pucks," Zadina said in 2018 after being passed on by the Canadiens and Ottawa Senators".
