A ridiculous trade rumor has emerged regarding Jeremy Swayman heading to the Philadelphia Flyers
The Boston Bruins have still not agreed to terms with RFA Jeremy Swayman which have many wondering if he will possibly end up getting traded.
According to reports, the Philadelphia Flyers would be a great fit for Swayman as it is no secret that they are desperate for a solid goaltender as they head into the year with Samuel Ersson as their starter.
While the ideal move for the Bruins would be for them to agree to a contract with Swayman as he would give him the best chance at winning, they might need to start looking elsewhere.
The Flyers would be a possible landing spot for the superstar goalie since they have a ton of high end prospects and players that they could include in the trade plus have a ton of cap space and would be able to sign Swayman for the amount he is looking for.
It will be interesting to see if the Bruins can get a deal done before the Monday roster deadline or if they will start to look at other options.
