Bruins game recap against the Capitals
The Boston Bruins took on the Washington Capitals this afternoon in a disappointing in which the Bruins were shutout 2-0.
The Bruins failed to put together any offense throughout the game for their fourth loss of the pre season as they only had a total of 15 shots on Capitals goaltender Charlie Lindgren.
Bruins prospect Georgii Merkulov and Fabian Lysell both had some solid chances in the game but failed to seal the deal as the team went on to not score a single goal on 15 shots.
Goaltender Brandon Bussi played the entire game but reporters have been wondering if his play lately has been enough to push newly acquired goaltender Jiri Patera down to the AHL as the two have been battling it out to be the back up while the Bruins deal with Jeremy Swayman's contract.
The Bruins will have a busy 48 hours coming up as the team needs to submit their roster to the league by the 5PM Monday deadline for the start of the season and they still have quite a few cuts to make.
