Vegas' Alec Martinez could be a great addition at a low cost for a consistent veteran who has won multiple Stanley Cups. He might be older now but if they can get him at a low cap hit, it may be worth it.
Brady Skjei from the Hurricanes is another great option as he is coming off a career high in points and goals which an offensive defenseman would be great for the Bruins.
As far as stay at home D go, TJ Brodie would be good for the Bruins as they could land him at a cheap price since he struggled last season but has proven he can be a reliable defenseman in this league.
Another offensive defenseman the Bruins could add is Shayne Gostisbehere who had a great offensive year in Detroit, putting up 51 points in 82 games.
The last option for the Bruins would be Marco Scandella, he is a big defensive defenseman that could be a solid 3rd pairing guy for the Bruins.
