A player from Team Canada officially turns himself in to the police

Following recent reports about multiple unidentified players anticipated to present themselves to the London, Ontario police in connection with an investigation tied to the 2018 World Junior Hockey Championship team, ex-NHL player Alex Formenton has surrendered himself.
His legal representatives assert his innocence, declaring,
"Alex will vigorously defend his innocence."
BREAKING: Alex Formenton, a former NHL player with the Ottawa Senators and 2018 junior player, has turned himself into London police. "Alex will vigorously defend his innocence and asks that people not rush to judgment without hearing all of the evidence."
Selected in the second round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators, Formenton appeared in 109 NHL games prior to transitioning to play in the Swiss League.
Presently taking an indefinite leave, the 24-year-old winger is facing charges linked to the allegations from 2018. More updates will follow as the situation develops.
