Occasionally, promising young hockey prospects who once shone brightly in junior leagues encounter difficulties when trying to make their mark in the highly competitive realm of the National Hockey League (NHL).

This holds true for Zachary Senyshyn, a former Boston Bruins 2015 first-round draft pick, selected 15th overall.

Despite early high hopes, Senyshyn struggled to establish himself in the NHL, leading him to make a tough decision.

At 26 years old, the Canadian forward has recently inked a deal with the Schwenninger Wild Wings of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

He is scheduled to join their training camp in a mere ten days.

Senyshyn's NHL journey has been limited to a mere 16 games over four seasons, split between the Bruins and the Ottawa Senators.

He mustered a modest tally of three points, comprising two goals and one assist.
