Continuing their trend of locking up restricted free agents, the Boston Bruins made significant waves for the second consecutive Monday.

One standout addition to their roster is none other than 24-year-old goaltender DiPietro, who follows in the footsteps of his legendary NHL father.
DiPietro showcased his exceptional skills during the 2022-23 season, notably in an AHL game for the Providence Bruins, where he secured a resounding victory with a remarkable 2.00 goals-against average and an impressive .943 save percentage.
Further highlighting his capabilities, he excelled in the ECHL, boasting a noteworthy record of 19-9-0 with the Maine Mariners, accompanied by a solid 2.61 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage.
With a stature of 6 feet and weighing 200 pounds, DiPietro possesses an ideal physique for the goaltender position.
Accumulating invaluable experience throughout his career, he has graced the ice in a total of 75 AHL games, split between Providence and Utica.
His commendable record of 40-25-6-1 is supported by a 2.83 goals-against average and an impressive .906 save percentage.
Hailing from Windsor, Ontario, DiPietro initially caught the attention of the Vancouver Canucks, who selected him in the third round (64th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
Now, embarking on a new chapter with the Boston Bruins, DiPietro is poised to make a lasting impact between the pipes. Bruins fans eagerly await his development and eagerly anticipate the contributions he will bring to the team's future success.
