Boston Bruins' Centennial Jerseys Unveiled Early Due to Leak
Just one hour before their official unveiling, the Boston Bruins' brand-new uniforms for their centennial season unexpectedly appeared online.
Icethetics, a well-known source for hockey uniform news, shared pictures of the Bruins' home, away, and alternate jerseys that had been leaked on the Adidas website earlier in the day.
The fresh home and away jerseys are notably simpler compared to previous designs, featuring a sparkling gold effect in place of the usual yellow. The home jersey is primarily black, while the away jersey is white, both adorned with gold, black, and white stripes on the sleeves and bottom.
Speaking of the Bruins' alternate jersey, it's a throwback to their origins, just as many had anticipated. While it's a bit challenging to make out in the leaked images, the main color is expected to be cream or off-white, complemented by yellow and brown striping. The front proudly displays a spoked-B logo in yellow and brown, with the year 1924 inside, marking the Bruins' founding year. Boston's alternate jersey is set to be worn during matchups against Original Six teams throughout the 2023-24 season.
Once the 2023-24 season concludes, the Bruins will revert to their traditional home and away uniforms.
