As reported by Fluto Shinzawa from The Athletic, David Krejci had to exit practice prematurely:
Krejci was absent from Sunday's game in St. Louis because of a lower-body injury (and rest), and seemed to experience discomfort during today's skate, leading to his early departure.
There's no reason for Montgomery to not rest Krejci, even if he's not injured. The veteran could benefit from some rest as well. After a year away from the game to play in his native Czechia, the 36-year-old has collected 16 goals and 40 assists in 70 games.
