Boston Forward Fears Being Cut By The Bruins
Several Bruins players are currently in the running for a coveted roster spot, and one of them is Danton Heinen.
Heinen recently expressed the significance of wearing the Bruins jersey and the desire to secure a spot on the team, saying, "You put pressure on yourself because you wanna be part of it so badly. I've put this jersey on before. I know how special it is."
The 28-year-old forward spent the first four years of his NHL career with the Bruins, amassing 103 points in 212 games. Last season, he played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, contributing 8 goals and 14 assists for a total of 22 points in 65 games.
As the competition for roster spots heats up, it remains to be seen whether the former Bruin will secure a place on the team once again.
