After ending an eight-game stretch without scoring a goal by netting a thrilling overtime winner against the Maple Leafs in Toronto on Saturday, the Bruins' captain unleashed an explosive performance. He secured a natural hat trick within 6 minutes during the third period, turning around a one-goal deficit and propelling the Bruins to a 3-1 victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets at the TD Garden on Sunday.

All three goals were executed very precisely; the first benefited from a deflection, while the subsequent two were exceptional displays of precision.

For the Bruins to make a mark this season, their key players must excel. David Pastrnak has largely delivered throughout the year, and now Marchand is also leaving his mark with his impactful performances.

Thursday night sees the Bruins welcoming the Sabres for their second encounter this season in Boston. The puck is scheduled to be dropped at 7 p.m. ET at TD Garden.
