The Boston Bruins is facing the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center on Wednesday night without two important players.

Forward Pavel Zacha and defenseman Charlie McAvoy have been ruled out by Boston for the upcoming game.

Morgan Geekie is set to assume a more significant responsibility in the offensive lineup, filling in alongside Jake DeBrusk and David Pastrnak. Geekie, who stepped in for Zacha during Saturday's game, is eagerly anticipating this chance.

Additionally, the Bruins recalled Jesper Boqvist from Providence on Tuesday. While Boqvist might enter Boston's lineup, coach Jim Montgomery refrained from confirming his role during Tuesday's media briefing.

Just before the game, here's what Brad Marchand had to say about Charlie Coyle's impact this season.

"Besides being an absolute rocket, extremely good-looking, he does it all. He's an animal. ... We see the work he puts in and how he dominates in practice. But now everyone is getting to see it."
