Entering the AHL playoffs as Atlantic Division Champions, Providence enjoyed a first-round bye. Yet, they found themselves trailing 2-0 in a best-of-five series against the underdog Hartford Wolf Pack leading up to Wednesday's game three.
With Providence holding a narrow 4-3 lead late in the third period, Bussi pulled off not only the most incredible save of the playoffs but possibly the entire season. In doing so, he may have singlehandedly kept their season afloat.

Providence went on to score two empty-net goals, securing a 6-3 victory in game three and keeping their playoff hopes alive. Game four is set for Friday night in Hartford.
