Bruins Captain Doing Work On And Off The Ice For Boston
Over the weekend, Boston Bruins' captain Brad Marchand exhibited an intense drive in his gameplay. He clinched the OT victory against the Maple Leafs on Saturday night and secured his sixth career hat trick against the Blue Jackets in a 3-1 win on Sunday.
In his post-game interview, Marchand subtly hinted at another objective he's pursuing: persuading longtime Bruin Patrice Bergeron to reconsider retirement.
Since Bergeron and Marchand's recent meeting, the team has secured three consecutive victories, outscoring their opponents 10-4 during this streak.
Bergeron praised Marchand's exceptional leadership of the Bruins this season. Although Bergeron hasn't vocalized any intentions of a possible comeback, Marchand's influence could potentially spark a faint possibility.
