Bruins Captain gets Big Demotion

Brad Marchand has garnered a reputation that most fans and players outside of the Boston can't stand. A mixture of his on-ice antics, trash talk along with skillful play has earned him the title of most hated guy in the league over the past few years.

A recent poll in the Athletic showed that Marchand is losing his title to another hated player in the league.

The Poll Stated:

Marchand, with 14.97% of the 147 total votes, secured second place, falling far short of reclaiming his previous title as most hated in the NHL.

Florida Panthers forward Nick Cousins who now claims the unenviable title of the most hated man in the NHL, securing a commanding 28.57% of the total votes.

Bruins fans will have to wait and see what their Captain does to regain his title.
