Bruins Join Elite List of NHL Teams by Clinching Atlantic Division

The Boston Bruins secured the Atlantic Division title after a closely contested match against Tampa Bay on Saturday, earning a spot among an exclusive group of NHL teams.

The Bruins have had a remarkable season thus far, and their success continued with a 2-1 win over their divisional rivals. Helping them become the third quickest team in NHL history to do so.

The Bruins clinched the Atlantic Division in their 72nd game of the 2022-23 season. Only two teams have clinched a division in fewer contests during an 82-game season in the four-division format.

With a current record of 56-11-5 and only nine games left, Boston is on track for 63 wins and 133 points, both of which would establish new NHL records.
