Bruins Reportedly in on New Trade Deadline Target

The Boston Bruins have been linked to numerous players as the NHL Trade Deadline approaches. The newest target that has been revealed may not have the star power of Elias Lindholm but could help the offense and is much more affordable. This could be a key detail considering the Bruins lack of trade assets with limited draft capital this year.
The Nashville Predators are in the middle of a retool and could make some players available come the trade deadline, one of those is 26-year-old center Tommy Novak. He carries a very affordable cap hit of $800K this season and is having a soldi season at 8 goals and 21 points in 36 games for the Preds. He had 43 points in 51 games last season which was considered a breakout year for him. He is definitely the type of player that could help the Bruins secondary scoring as we get closer to the playoffs.
