Bruins Rookie Matt Poitras has been living a crazy life, even for a professional athlete, the last few weeks. In what ended up being a disappointment at World Juniors for his Team Canada, Poitras gained valuable experience playing on a big stage once again and as a leader of the team.

Poitras is back with the Bruins and was inserted back into the lineup in the Bruins' 7-3 domination of the Tampa Bay Lightning Saturday night. Poitras did not skip a beat and registered two assists and +2 rating on a night where Boston was firing on all cylinders offensively.

The 19-year-old rookie for the Bruins commented after the game:

"It definitely felt like a good reset getting back here and getting back in the lineup... I kinda got those jitters kind of like your first game again... lots of excitement."

The Bruins are continuing to get their players back and the offense is finding a rhythm again. They will need to continue that with the difficult road schedule coming up which features match ups against top teams like the Avalanche, and the Golden Knights as well as league surprises in the Blues and Coyotes.
