David Pastrnak shows how valuable a star he is on any team, even one made up entirely of All Stars, as he was selected with the second pick for Team McDavid for this years all star festivities.
With Pastrnak being top three in the NHL in both goals and points, its no surprise he would be an big target for this year's All Star captains. It was never a matter of IF Pasta would be an early pick, it was a matter of how early he would be selected and who the lucky captain would be to have him on their team.
Pastrnak joins captain Connor McDavid and alternate captain Leon Draisaitl as the leading forwards for team McDavid, and with first round pick Connor Hellebuyck between the pipes, this team should be a force to be reckoned with.
