As the 2022-23 regular season comes to a close, the pair has officially received the William M. Jennings Trophy, as Boston conceded a league-low 177 goals (with the Hurricanes in second at 213).
Additionally, Ullmark and Swayman have etched their names in NHL history by accomplishing a unique and impressive feat. According to NHL Public Relations:
Ullmark, 29, concluded the season as the top NHL goaltender in wins (40-6-1), GAA (1.89), and SV% (.938), and is likely to secure the Vezina Trophy after the season.
Swayman, on the other hand, overcame early-season struggles and finished the year with a 24-6-4 record, a 2.21 GAA, and a .922 SV% at 24 years old.
