In the third period of the Bruins versus Wild matchup, Pat Maroon once again draws attention for the wrong reasons. In the corner of the rink, Charlie McAvoy is hit from behind by Pat Maroon, slamming hard enough into the glass to dislodge his helmet. Despite the impact, no penalty was called for the play.
"Somehow Pat Maroon drilling Charlie McAvoy from behind directly through his numbers was not called for even a minor. I'm not sure how this isn't 5 and a game."

If the NHL aims to be fair and credible, officiating must be consistent. For the league to regain credibility in this aspect, it needs to ensure that its system demonstrates uniformity from the first to the last game of a season, encompassing all teams, including the Bruins
