Bruins prospects may not be able to get much of a chance this year
The young players in the Bruins organization will have to patiently await their opportunity to showcase their skills in the NHL.
It's evident that Sweeney's talent selection during recent years has been rather average, although it's worth noting that Boston hasn't had the chance to secure a top draft pick in quite some time.
Consequently, their group of promising prospects currently ranks quite low in comparison.
As of late, Boston has been actively acquiring numerous players, suggesting that they may not believe their prospects are fully prepared for the big leagues just yet.
Alternatively, they could be acquiring these players with the intention of trading them for more valuable assets, as there are certain areas that Sweeney needs to address before the next season commences.
Regardless of the exact strategy, it's unlikely that we'll witness the emergence of many prospects in the upcoming season. Boston is presently focused on pursuing immediate success
