As the 2025-26 season looms closer, the Boston Bruins, like many other teams, find themselves in a situation with a handful of players still under contract. The implications can swing either way depending on who these players are.

At present, the Bruins share the company of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres, each with only six players under contract through 2025-26. In contrast, the Tampa Bay Lightning have the most, securing ten players for the upcoming seasons.

The players signed for the Bruins are Charlie Coyle, Pavel Zacha, David Pastrnak, Charlie McAvoy, Hampus Lindholm, and Brandon Carlo. Notably, Pastrnak, McAvoy, and Lindholm have already solidified deals that stretch into the 2027-28 season. As for Carlo, he's set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2027-28.
