This could spell the end of the Arizona Coyotes.

To add insult to an already battered image, minority owner of the Arizona Coyotes - Andrew Barroway - was arrested on Friday.

Minority Coyotes Owner Arrested

Barroway - a hedge fund manager who holds a 5% stake in the Coyotes - was taken into police custody on strangulation charges.

Barroway previously held a majority stake in the team, acquiring his position in 2017.

#Coyotes minority owner Andrew Barroway was arrested in Colorado on a felony strangulation charge.

Barroway, also the owner of Greek second-division soccer team Athens Kallithea FC, has been indefinitely suspended by the NHL.

He holds a 5% stake in the team.

The Coyotes' arena agreement with the Arizona State University Sun Devils includes a 'good behavior' clause. Could this incident be sufficient grounds to void the clause?

This event may very well cause the end of the Arizona Coyotes.
