The St. Louis Blues made a notable move, signing former Boston Bruins forward Nick Ritchie to a professional tryout (PTO) on Thursday.

Ritchie, who was drafted 10th overall by the Anaheim Ducks in 2014, spent time with several teams, including the Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He's played 481 games in the NHL, with 84 goals and 102 assists.

In an unusual twist, Ritchie and his brother were traded for each other, marking the first sibling trade in NHL history. Brett Ritchie, who also had a brief stint with the Boston Bruins, is expected to sign a PTO with the Florida Panthers.

This move adds depth to the St. Louis Blues and sets the stage for an interesting season ahead.
