Former Bruin Nick Foligno was only a Bruin for two years before playing this year for the Chicago Blackhawks. The long time Blue Jackets captain leaves a lasting impression wherever he goes, and a recent report emphasizes that.

"Louie DeBrusk just said on the Oilers broadcast that when Jake DeBrusk was hurt Nick Foligno and his wife made him food and brought it over. That's an outrageously believable story. Foligno is the best."

Remember that Foligno was only with the Bruins for two seasons, was not a captain, but he was the picture of what you want in a teammate. Possibly why Chicago wanted him this year so he could take Connor Bedard under his wing.

This story shows the compassionate side to Foligno and a characteristic coaches look for in their leaders. Foligno is an ultimate team first guy, and this story supports that.
