Jeremy Swayman with the Touching Gesture

Jeremy Swayman was able to step away briefly from the game that made him famous and give something back to the community recently. After a game The Newly announced NHL All-Star recently visited and spoke with those who lost loved ones in the recent Lewistown Maine shootings who had attended the game.

Swayman played college hockey at the University of Maine and himself and his family were very felt by the tragedy that struck the community of Lewistown. He still visits Lewistown each summer, stating he is intending to buy a house there.

Swayman took time to greet fans and sign autographs and show his support for a community that was mourning and one that means so much to him personally.
