Although Bergeron hasn't been able to join his teammates on the ice for the series so far, he's expected to return for game five in Boston on Wednesday night.
Fellow coach Jim Montgomery acknowledged the impact of Bergeron's texts, playfully suggesting that the star player might be eyeing a coaching career in the future.
"I'm glad he's made a lot of money. Hopefully, he doesn't want to make anymore."
There's no doubt that Bergeron has the potential to become a fantastic NHL coach someday, but that's likely still some time away, and it's uncertain whether he's even interested in pursuing that path.
