Milan Lucic's Take on a Prominent Bruins Player
Milan Lucic, a Bruins veteran since 2007, returned to Boston and hit the ice with his new teammates during 'Captain's' practice.
He spoke to the media, expressing his deep gratitude for being back in the city he considers a second home.
Lucic also praised his former linemate, David Pastrnak, who had a stellar season with 61 goals and 113 points.
When asked if Pastrnak belongs in the same league as McDavid, Lucic replied,
"Different players, but what 'Pasta' has done recently is impressive... He's up there with the league's best, like McDavid and Matthews."
Lucic is confident Pastrnak will thrive on his new contract.
Reflecting on his mentorship of Pastrnak, Lucic stated,
"I saw he was more than a scorer... It's been great to see him grow."
