Montgomery Releases a surprise Statement On This Player
During the Bruins' media day, GM Don Sweeney addressed the complexity of deciding on Danton Heinen's future. Sweeney noted,
"We're still exploring our options for potentially signing Danton. He's been on a PTO, and he's made it a challenging decision. We'll finalize our roster decisions just before the wire on Monday."
However, salary cap constraints have hindered an immediate resolution. There's growing optimism that Heinen will eventually sign, but it might require creative cap maneuvering by Sweeney. This resolution could be delayed until the weekend, leaving Patrick Brown as the 13th forward for the upcoming game on Saturday night, or beyond.
