The Boston Bruins are in the midst of a four-game winning streak and playing some of their best all-around hockey of the season. However, that does not stop the trade rumors that constantly flow around the NHL. Bruins forward Jake Debrusk has been at the forefront of those rumors since the beginning of the season. The 27-year-old forward is riding a four-game point streak with two goals and four assists during the Bruins four game win streak. Debrusk might be starting to heat up after a slow start. This however could have just increased his trade value for the team.

Boston Now Writer Mick Colageo has analyzed the chances that Debrusk gets traded. With a career full of inconsistency, injuries and trade requests along with some flashed of on ice brilliance, the Bruins and Debrusk find themselves at a crossroads. Bruin's history will tell you that Boston rarely resigns unrestricted free agents like Debrusk.

NHL insider reports that even with his recent performance boost the last few games, the Bruins are unlikely to get a substantial return for Debrusk, topping out at a 2nd round pick or a B-Level prospect. This could make the Bruins hold off and let Debrusk keep contributing. The Debrusk situation is one to keep an eye on and will add trade deadline drama as the March 8th date quickly approaches.
