The Boston Bruins have a range of prospects in their system, both promising and under the radar. The team's objective is to pinpoint the standout players from this group.

Among the potential stars for the Bruins, a handful are particularly noteworthy: Fabian Lysell, Marc McLaughlin, Mason Lohrei, and others. However, only a limited number of these prospects will get the chance to showcase their skills in the upcoming NHL season. Marc McLaughlin, who came close to earning a spot on the roster during last year's training camp, could potentially be one of those chosen players.

During his time with the Providence Bruins in the AHL, he managed to tally 13 goals, 17 assists, and a total of 30 points over two seasons. Although he only participated in one game in the 2021-22 season, his involvement increased significantly in the following season. His impressive 30-point performance grabbed the attention of the Bruins management and led to his call-up.

At 24 years old, Marc's primary goal is to secure a spot in the starting lineup for the Bruins following the training camp. While this task is challenging, it's certainly achievable. According to Bruins Network, there's a strong likelihood that Marc McLaughlin could make the team:

"Considering how close McLaughlin was to making the roster last year, he might be one of the first to be rewarded. It's worth noting that finding elite-skating, 6-foot-3 centers with such athleticism is a rare occurrence."
