After conceding five goals from 29 shots in Wednesday's game three defeat, Bruins' goalie Ullmark was noticeably missing from the team's practice on Friday morning.
While Ullmark did travel with the team to Florida, Montgomery revealed that his status for the upcoming game remains uncertain.
Should the Bruins Rely on Swayman?
The question of whether the Bruins should stick with Ullmark or switch to Jeremy Swayman has been a hot topic among fans since the game two loss. If Ullmark is indeed injured, Swayman's start seems like a sure thing � but nothing is ever certain!
Montgomery would likely not hesitate to rely on the 24-year-old Swayman, who has emerged as one of the top goaltenders in the league in 2023. Boasting a 17-3-1 record in 23 games since January 1st, with an impressive 2.03 GAA, a .932 SV%, and three shutouts under his belt.
