Similar to Boston Bruins fans, Hall mentioned that he watched some of his team's games on NESN with Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley while recovering from his injury. In a recent interview with Steve Buckley of The Athletic, the forward discussed his new appreciation he gained for one of the broadcasters.
Brickley played in 385 games over his 11-year NHL career (177 games with Boston) and is well-acquainted with Hall's current situation. As Buckley highlighted, Brickley recovered from "10 major surgical procedures" during his career, and can now provide a unique perspective on recoveries, comebacks, and returning from injuries.
Hall, 31, recently skated in a full-contact practice sweater for the first time since sustaining his injury on February 25th against the Vancouver Canucks. The latest reports indicate that the former Hart Trophy winner could potentially return during Boston's remaining four regular-season games.
