The Boston Bruins are readying themselves for their upcoming match against the Detroit Red Wings by making significant adjustments to their lineup. This unexpected maneuver has taken many by surprise and underscores the team's determination to perform at their peak on the ice.

At the forefront, Pavel Zacha, Morgan Geekie, and David Pastrnak lead the charge on the first line. The second line showcases the dynamic trio of Brad Marchand, Charlie Coyle, and Jake DeBrusk. A renewed energy accompanies the addition of James van Riemsdyk, Georgii Merkulov, and Trent Frederic on the third line, while Danton Heinen, John Beecher, and Jakub Lauko comprise the fourth line.

Defensively, a formidable duo is formed by Mason Lohrei and Charlie McAvoy. Hampus Lindholm and Brandon Carlo team up on the second pairing, while Matt Grzelcyk joins forces with Kevin Shattenkirk to complete the defensive trio.

In the goaltending position, Jeremy Swayman assumes the starting role, with Linus Ullmark as the backup.
