As NHL training camps approach in mid-September, teams are working hard to finalize their rosters before the season starts. The Boston Bruins have been quite active this summer, especially after the retirement of two important players.

Reports indicate that the Bruins are focusing on strengthening their offensive lineup and have set their sights on a particular player. According to Eklund from Hockey Buzz, the Bruins are highly interested in Pavel Buchnevich, who currently plays for the St. Louis Blues.

Eklund states,

"Pavel is committed to the Blues for one more year, and discussions about extending his contract are ongoing. However, uncertainties remain about where he might end up in the future. The Bruins are taking a proactive approach, displaying a strong pursuit in this matter."

In the previous season, Buchnevich showcased his skills by scoring an impressive 26 goals and providing 41 assists in just 63 games. Adding him to the Bruins' offensive lineup could make a significant impact and provide the team with the offensive strength it needs. Given the Blues' rebuilding phase and the Bruins' determination to remain competitive, a trade between the two teams could be mutually beneficial.
