During the 2015 NHL Draft, the Boston Bruins encountered a challenging outcome. Despite securing three consecutive first-round picks, their selectionsJakub Zboril, Jake DeBrusk, and Zachary Senyshyn at the 13th, 14th, and 15th spotsfailed to produce significant results.

Of the three players, only DeBrusk has managed to carve out a notable professional career. Recently, in response to Zboril's request, the Bruins placed him on waivers, aiming for another NHL team to offer the opportunities that Boston couldn't provide.

Yesterday at noon marked the deadline for teams to claim Zboril off waivers, and unfortunately for him, no team chose to secure a spot for him on their roster. As a result, Zboril will persist with the Providence Bruins, where he has been actively playing this season.

Meanwhile, in a simultaneous waiver wire update, the Winnipeg Jets have commenced proceedings involving Dominic Toninato, placing him on waivers with the plan of assigning him to the AHL.
