Mason Lohrei stepped in for Carlo in Tuesday's Bruins lineup, teaming up with Charlie McAvoy in the first pairing.
The Bruins (24-8-8) are set to conclude their four-game road trip in the Western Conference this Saturday, facing off against the St. Louis Blues. Currently leading the Atlantic Division, they are two points ahead of the Florida Panthers. Boston trails the Winnipeg Jets by two points for the league's top record.
