Following Tuesday's practice at Warrior Ice Arena, Ullmark addressed the media in the Bruins' locker room, discussing the altercation with Florida's notorious agitator.
He explained that his reaction was more spontaneous than premeditated.
The Swedish goaltender also revealed that his family contacted him shortly after the incident, with his mother being the first to check-in. Naturally, she wanted to ensure her son was alright, as she had never witnessed that side of him before.
The Bruins are set to face the Panthers in game five on Wednesday night at TD Garden in Boston, aiming to clinch the series on home ice. Ullmark has a 3-1 record in the playoffs, with a 2.55 GAA and a .926 SV%.
