Bruins fans had their prayers answers when they were able to read this morning that Georgii Merkulov has been called up to the Bruins Roster. He practiced with the team on Friday in front of yet another fan filled practice (same as Thursday). While yesterday we wrote about how the fans brought energy to practice, there was another source of energy brought by Merkulov being there.
Merkulov being in the third line with JVR's net front presence could be a nice pairing as JVR is always willing to do much of the dirty work for his team. Merkulov was also slotted on the second power play unit with Lindholm, Debrusk, Coyle and JVR.
