Taylor Hall (LTIR), Nick Foligno (IR), and Derek Forbort (IR) have been sidelined for at least 10 games. Surprisingly - well kind of - Boston boasts a 9-1-0 record during that span, which is in big thanks to their impressive depth.
Nevertheless, Scott McLaughlin from WEEI recently suggested that it isn't far-fetched for at least two of these players to be ready in the upcoming days:
Shifting Forbort to LTIR would provide the Bruins with enough cap space to activate either Hall or Foligno.
However, McLaughlin also pointed out that this move could impact the lineup, as it would undoubtedly push out some players who have been performing well.
With only five games left, head coach Jim Montgomery faces a pleasant dilemma concerning his lineup but has limited time to make a decision.
The Bruins won't be back in action until Thursday when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs at TD Garden.
