This is why Fabian Lysell will have a big season for the Boston Bruins if he makes the team out of camp.
At only 21-years-old, Lysell has not seen any NHL action after playing the last 2 seasons with the Providence Bruins of the AHL. Every year of pro hockey under his belt, he is improving, and after a great year in 2023-2024, he could easily make the Bruins out of camp.
He scored 50 points in Providence scoring 15 goals and 35 assists with a +/- rating of +6. But with a top 6 forward vacancy after Jake DeBrusk left for the Vancouver Canucks, he could step up and jump at the opportunity to showcase he belongs at the NHL level.
According to Boston bruins executives, they are giving him every opportunity to take that spot in the lineup.
Of course, cracking Boston's lineup over the last few years is easier said than done.
