The Boston Bruins are set to faceoff against the Flyers tonight (September 28th) in hopes to turn things around as they lost two out of their three games so far. The lost to the New York Rangers for the second time two nights ago as they lost in a blowout 5-2.
The Bruins announced their roster and lineups for the game this evening and there are many players the fans should be looking out for.
As Jeremy Swayman has yet to sign a contract with the Boston Bruins, The Bruins will be going back to the projected tandem to start the regular season in Joonas Korpisalo and Brandon Bussi. In two out of the three games so far, head coach Jim Montgomery has elected to play both goalies for half the game to get them some action, but now he electing to allow them to play the full 60 minutes. Korpisalo will be getting his second start tonight and will be getting the nod to go the distance. In his first game, he stopped all seven shots he faced before the Bruins put Michael DiPietro in net for the second half.
