The Bruins might be missing first and second round draft picks but the team certainly has quite a few young players in Providence that will soon be making the jump to the NHL.

The main player that sticks out of the group is Swedish prospect Fabian Lysell. The 21 year-old is in his second season in Providence and has been improving every day according to coaches.

«He wanted to fix everything in one day,» said Bruins Player Development Coordinator Adam McQuaid, identifying a key component to Lysell's improvement as a second-year pro. «Fabian is embracing the process.»

Lysell has made a lot of changes since his rookie season in the AHL in terms of mindset and development but has also improved his scoring with 43 points in 49 games this season.

The young Bruins' prospect in on pace for 60 points in 68 games this season in the AHL which is quite impressive for such a young player in his second season playing with men.

There is a good chance Lysell stays in Providence for the rest of the season but Bruins fans can be excited that they have a top prospect on their hands that is sure to have an impact in the NHL once he makes the jump.
