The Bruins have announced quite a few changes to their coaching staff for next season with some hires and change of titles.

Firstly, they hired Jay Leach, former Kraken assistant coach and Providence Bruins head coach to the one of the Bruins new assistant coaches to help their defensive game.

Welcome back, Jay!


They also decided to promote Joe Sacco to associate coach while John McLean will go from being on the coaching staff to being part of player development, focusing on skating and skills

Bruins coaching staff news:

-Jay Leach returns to the organization after being an assistant with the Kraken. He'll focus on the defense.

-Joe Sacco promoted to associate coach.

-John McLean shifts from the coaching staff to player development staff as a skating/skills coach.


Despite quite a few moves within the coaching staff, the Bruins have decided to keep head coach Jim Montgomery for at least one more season.
