The Bruins announced this morning that the team has agreed to a trade with Grand Rapids in the AHL.

The Providence Bruins have acquired Jared McIsaac from the Grand Rapids Griffins for forward Curtis Hall.

"Providence Bruins Acquire Jared McIsaac from Grand Rapids."

McIsaac is a solid defenseman that has yet to play a game in the NHL but has played very well in the AHL so far in his career. This season the 23 year-old has 4 points in 15 games with a -3 +/- rating.

It will be interesting to see if he ever gets his shot in the NHL.
