There is no denying that Bruins GM Don Sweeney will need to make some moves regarding the teams blueline before the deadline. There has been a lot of talks regarding Noah Hanifin but if the Bruins are not able to land him they do have another option that could help their D-core.

The Flyer are looking to move Sean Walker as his contract is up with no extension in sight. The 29 year-old defenseman has 20 points in 58 games this season with a 9 +/- rating.

The only issue being that the Flyer would be hoping to get a first or second round pick for Walker which the Bruins have neither of.

As the #LetsGoFlyers try to get Nick Seeler signed to an extension, they still haven't formally started discussions with Sean Walker's camp. If he isn't signed by the deadline, and the price tag for him on the trade market drops, expect the #NHLBruins to engage.

With only two weeks to the deadline, Sweeney will have to move quickly if he wants to improve the Bruins starting 6 defensemen.
