The Boston Bruins have made a last minute transaction on the 2nd day of camp by signing goalie Kasimir Kaskisuo to a PTO amidst the Jeremey Swayman contract troubles.

At 30 years-old, he played 13 games for the Laval Rocket of the AHL where he had a pretty good showing, going 7-4-0 with a 2.90 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.

The last time he appeared in the NHL was back in the 2019 and 2020 season where he only appeared in 2 games for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Nashville Predators. over his 108 career AHL games, he has put on a pretty goof showing , achieving a record of 53-36-10 with a 2.68 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.

He will be competing for the back up job with Brandon Bussi, and healthy competition is always good for the team.
