The Bruins seem to have quite a few solid young prospects in the pipeline with a team in Providence full of future NHLers.

One name that has been standing out this season is Fabian Lysell. The former first round pick is currently second in scoring on his team in the AHL with 49 points in 55 games but has yet to get called up to Boston.

Lysell, 21, is quietly having a wonderful season with the Providence Bruins, posting new career highs with 15 goals, 34 assists, and 49 points in 55 games. -Michael Derosa

Lysell has been making quite the case for himself to be called up for the Bruins especially if they are looking to add a bit of offense before the playoffs. It seems as though the one thing holding Lysell back from making the jump is his defensive game.

If the Bruins don't end up bringing him to Boston this season, fans will surely be seeing him soon as he is destined to be an NHL player.
